Mr McCallum is currently responsible for ACNielsen's Customised Research Services globally, including all ACNielsen geographic regions and the company's International and Internet units. In addition to financial performance, Mr. McCallum is responsible for the development of existing and new customised products and services and for coordinating product development across ACNielsen's Customised, Retail and Consumer Panel Strategic Business Units in Asia Pacific.
Mr McCallum has, over the years, gained experience across a wide spectrum of research, ranging from continuous retail/media measurement to concept development and NPD research. His particular area of expertise is in the application of statistical methods to help solve marketing problems.
Mr McCallum has 28 years' marketing research experience. He was formerly Managing Director of ACNielsen Japan and prior to that the Managing Director of ACNielsen Singapore. He started his career in the U.K. with Research International.
Mr McCallum holds a B.A., combined honours degree in Geography and Economics from Exeter University U.K, and a Graduate Diploma in Statistics. He has frequently given papers at a variety of conferences, including those of ESOMAR, AMA, UK MRS and the Japan Marketing Association.
Mr McCallum is based in Sydney, Australia.
